The Fit to Fly  medical certificate is sometimes required by airlines and airport authorities to authorize the carriage of a passenger who is or appears to be ill.

This certificate is required when the traveler has been/is sick or in a period of potential contagion. For example, children who develop chickenpox and still have skin lesions may need this certificate to confirm that they are no longer in the contagion period.

The doctor will carry out a directed clinical questionnaire and, whenever he deems it necessary, may request complementary diagnostic tests. Whenever there is a specific form, it must be given to the doctor during the consultation.
