What is an online consultation?
It is a medical or psychology consultation carried out at a distance, via the internet.
What equipment is needed?
You need a computer or smartphone, browser, microphone, sound and internet connection.
I'm deaf. Can I use your service?
Yes. We have a tool that allows simultaneous subtitling.
How is the payment made?
Payment is made before the consultation, by one of the means indicated in the booking process.
Do I need a credit card?
Not. You can pay by alternative means, such as MBWay or bank transfer by IBAN. Please contact us.
Does the doctor issue prescriptions and exams?
Yes, if recommended by the doctor, prescriptions and requests are sent by email or SMS with eletronic certified signature.
I did the consultation online, but I still need to be seen in person. Am I refunded for the first appointment?
No. Once the appointment has started, payment is non-refundable.
What situations cannot be handled online?
Among others: emergency situations and serious situations in which the patient may suspect that his/ health or life is at serious risk (including falls and fractures).
In which languages can I carry out the consultation?
Consultations are carried out in Portuguese and English. Depending on the professional, other languages may be available.
I need a medical statement. Can I get it through Dr.Click?
This service allows the issuance of medical and psychological statements. In some cases, users must provide forms to be completed.
In which languages are the medical statements made available?
The declarations are issued in Portuguese, except for the generic "fit to fly" declarations, issued in English. If the user has a form in English, he must make it available for the physician to complete.
Do I need to take tests to obtain a medical statement?
It depends on the clinical criteria and the content of the statement. If you need tests, the doctor prescribes them according to the official Portuguese models. The user can later send the results to complete the process without additional costs.
I need an official certified translation of the issued document. Does Dr.Click handle this process?
Yup. If you need an official translation, we work with certified translators in the United Kingdom. This service has an extra cost depending on the number of pages to be translated and certified and the urgency of the service.
